Wild Rockies is proud to bring you Idaho’s original XTERRA event! Held at the stunning Ponderosa State Park
near McCall. The 13th Annual XTERRA Wild Ride features a 3/4 mile swim, a 18.5-mile mountain bike, and a 6.2 mi trail run (YES !!!the mtb loop is inside the Park riding counter-clockwise from the Vistor's Center Trailhead. This will be a slightly tweaked version from last year's loop--less pavement more dirt). There are spectacular sections of single-track that will be beckoning you to come back and ride/run even more.
XTERRA WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP update 2016: Regional athletes now can qualify for the XTERRA World Championships in Maui by becoming age group Regional Champions. This is accomplished through competing in Regional Championships and other XTERRA races across the United States. You must compete in one event in your designated region. You can also gain valuable points at the Pan American Championship in September held in Utah.
