8th Annual XTERRA Wild Ride
Off-Road Triathlon

PLUS--- Youth Off-Road Triathlon event option and NEW this year, road bike option instead of mountain bike course.
Sunday August 18th , following the XTERRA Wild Ride, main event @ Ponderosa State Park.
Options for (Under 14) kids are a short or long course. Both options swim around the swimming area by the main visitor center, and lifejackets are optional. The bike course is either 1.5 or 3 miles, on dirt trails but no hills, and the run course is either 1/3 or 2/3 mile.TEAMs of 2-3 kids available upon request. Cost will be $20 for kids online, plus $10 for each kid's waiver. Each participant will receive a schwag bag. More information will be posted and distributed at registration. The price goes up to $25 on the day of the event, so dont wait to register your kids til the last minute.

Wild Rockies is proud to bring back Idaho’s original XTERRA event! Held at the stunning Ponderosa State Park near McCall.The 8th Annual XTERRA Wild Ride features a 3/4 mile swim, a 20-mile mountain bike (lollypop loop riding clockwise from Crestline Trailhead) and a 6 mile trail run in the Park. There are spectacular sections of single-track that will be beckoning you to come back and ride/run even more.

Any regular Wild Rockies Series competitor who completes the entire event will receive the equivalent of third-place Wild Rockies points in their respective class for finishing this bad boy, and of course XTERRA America Tour points (Accumulate points to be regional Champion and qualify for XTERRA Nationals) and a whole lot of schwag will also be dispensed. If you finish as part of a team, you'll get the equivalent of seventh place Wild Rockies points in your respective class.
PLUS this is the last big race for the series--which means 2X the points for the Championship!
WE have a new basecamp for Wild Rockies athletes and team members, CHECK out the HUB in downtown MCCall. If you need a great cup of coffee or a place to stay and meet other like minded outdoors people, this is the place THE HUB in downtown MCCALL--Killer coffee, B & B, bike shop and more!!
